Pete

Pete,

Thank you for the cost information. It will be a big help as I try to stretch the budget to allow for the dual exhausts.

Thanks again,
Gary

horse power

My old flathead 218 is in need of a rebuild and I was thinking about putting on two single barrel carbs and dual exhausts. Does anyone know about how many more horse power I can expect to gain?

Thanks,

Gary

vin number tag

I need a little help! I need a round vin tag that goes on the driver's side door for a 1949 plymouth. Mine was taken off for painting and of course it was lost. Is there any hope of getting another wtih the same number or should I look for one off of another car?

Thanks,
Gary

Pete,
I was looking around trying to get info on turning my single 49 exhaust into a dual set-up and came across your efforts. They are great. I was wondering how much all of this cost you. It will help me in my planning.

Thanks for your help.

Johnny,

The chrome piece is for the top of the rear tail light on the driver's side. I do not need NOS but would like a nice one maybe with little/minor pitting. Thanks for responding. I also need the large trunk chrome piece.

Adam, The most likely thing is you do have a leak. Put a damp cloth on the end of the tail pipe while the car is running. If it does not feel like a lot of pressure you have a leak. The second part is how is it entering the car? It is time to check for holes in the floors of the interior and the tru...

Dear Stan,

Andy Bernbaum will have one for you. They are pretty expensive.

universal joint

I have a vibration at around 35 to 40 mph and guess that it is the universal joint. Has anyone greased one or had to replace one? Mine is covered in a rubber boot and there is no grease fitting visible. How tough is this to do? I would appreciate some help.
Thanks,
