yea im thinking you could put the 2 carb set up on and only run one it shouldnt run any diffrent then in origanal form but gives you the vintage hot rod look and anyone looking that hard at your car and gives comments not to be cool then is looking to meet the plymouth tire iron couse one mans hard ...

is it one of those things where i can use my old fly wheel and bell housing or not so much becouse it would just be great to just bolt up and go but if i choose to use the fluid drive would that just bolt up and go or is every thing going to be diffrent if its the drive shaft i also have the one tha...

have you checked your gear grease in transmition it might be low or it sounds like a sincronizer is going out or maybe the throw out bearing all those things will make it hard to shift

well things are looking up for the ole 49 i found a 49 dodge motor i talked about befor and wow what a find i ended up getting it for 150 dollars and the extra parts alone were worth that the motor only has 40 thousand miles on it and had been well kept in storage for two years a little dust on it b...

hes right 49 is the first year of what they call small fender cars most all companys changed sizes that year and did away with running boards and swooped out rocker panels another easy way to tell a 49 from 48 or older
