Guess I am lucky, found one on a 51 dodge in a scrap yard that is near perfect. It is a couple inches longer but can be cut easy Not installed yet but will be someday. Most of you know we are never wanting a show car but a nice looking driver. Tried something with the old one just to get some heat i...

Yep! Got er off! Going to work on the horn today. Took the Grandkids trick or treating Thursday evening and the horn just stopped working. After a short trouble shoot noticed the wire going thru the steering colum just slid out. Broke inside somewhere! Wish I knew how to get the pic off the PDF manu...

Horn switch

Need to get to the horn switch.

The manual shows to remove the medallion and from the pictures it looks like a 1/8 turn but can't budge the sucker!

Another special tool maybe? LOL

Any help or tips?

Thanks in advance!

The Mrs and I worked about all weekend and made room for "Lucille" and all the stuff needing to be in the barn :) Still going to need a cover. Checked out JC Whitney and going with one of the all season covers. Good investment IMO. Save some washing and in the summer when she sets out will save the ...

Saw a few on Ebay but they appear to be thicker blue tarps, trying to avoid the look of that LOL Already have few around covering things of lesser worth and satisfaction To get something water proof and UV blocking may have to go that route. Be smart to keep Lucille covered in the barn since the bir...

Car cover for p18

Looking for a cover, hopefully "Lucille" will be inside soon but for now she is braving the elements.

What are you using?
Are you happy with it?
Where would I get one?

Thanks!

O.K. so how did it go? :?: Well, been under the weather for a few weeks, feeling a lot better this week by the way. Been working almost all the time I am not sleeping, have several empty rentals trying to get up and rented before winter gets here in force and my day job (self employed) has seen the...

Re: Anniversary

For our 25th about a month ago I packed a lunch and drinks in the trunk of the bike(Honda GL) and mapped out a little ride to see a very old house (built 1693), something we are both interested in, It was beautiful sunny day, riding on secondary roads. There was a picnic table behind the house, so ...

Here is an idea I had since I posted: One: go to dinner and invite the family (many riding in Lucille) B: Ask a preacher friend of ours to be there 3: ask a DJ friend of mine who will be there to play (I just called him) Enrique Iglesias - Hero.... and dance with my wife D: renew our vows for this l...

The non in tank pumps I have seen are grounded through the pump body. (sure there are other types) With that said with a positive ground system a neg ground pump will work if the pump body is attacted to the "negative" side of the battery and switched and fused. The "power" (probably red) line is at...
