Jack handle

Post by Root Beer Stand » Sun Mar 17th, 2013 4:00

I assume Lucille has a factory bumper jack but there is no handle. It appears from looking at the jack that the handle will be a flat piece of steel.
Anyone know for sure, have one for sale or a picture so I can fabricate one?

Thanks!

I'll check mine, and see. I think mine came complete. I can get a pic and some measurements if I've got it.

These era bumper jacks used the lug wrench as a handle. If you don't have one ... it's a single socket variety .... about 18" long with a 45 degree bend at the socket end making the gripper portion of the handle ... about 4" in length. The opposite end is tapered to be used to remove hubcaps.

I must not have the original jack Johnny as the one I have a jack that will only accept a flat handle.
