Anyone have a list of 49 Plymouth literature?

Post by Johnny_S » Sun Jun 6th, 2004 5:25

Has anyone pulled together a list of the 1949 Plymouth literature that was produced? I know Paul has some listed on this site. Seems like someone may have a fairly complete list already. Things like: Advertising, accessory books, parts and shop manuals (variations?), magazine articles, etc.

I now have just about everything I own posted in the gallery. For the dealer info I know I am missing the accessory book and fabic swatch book. There are still some ads that I don't have. I'm sure there are many magazine articles that are out there. I do own 4 of the AMT models (I need to take new photos of them). There is a remote control AMT model, a pic is in the gallery. There are a lot of misc collectables to find.

Hi

the is one more important piece of dealer literature. It's the large sales catalog, rather than the folder. Has about 28 or so pages, pics of the cars are mostly the same, but a lot more detail. Very rare, I have only seen two, the 1950, 1951 versions are much more common.

Regards Mark

PS don't have a 1949 Plymouth, looked at a lot and finally found a 1951 DESOTO Suburban.

Mark, do you have one of these large catalogs? Do you have any photos?
